5" of snow so far, still drifting down and the high today was 20*. One of the biggest snow storms this season and the morning temps do nothing but go down for a couple of days. Broke out the Cubex for both stoves.

Maybe 3 inches here but it has been pretty steady all day. Still not touching it-let it melt.

Me, I went the opposite direction of everyone else and put in the 2 bags of Nations Choice. They are OK and not LaCrete level but they are keeping the house warm. They would be fine for shoulder season. They might be ok in colder weather but I would definitely be going through far more fuel than LaCrete. 2 bags in 2 days-That hasnt happened all winter for me with the good stuff.

I have my fingers crossed we are done with snow for now. Very sunny and warm today, turned the stove off for a few hours, aired out the house while I let it cool, scraped the burn pot and emptied the ashpan. I hope the cruddy weather moves out soon for all you out east:)

The little Francesca stove is chugging Pellets like she's at a Free Lunch Buffet - wife says house is toasty.

Also says 6-7" sn*w on driveway, plus the crap the road plow buried @ the front of it - husband will be chilly later snow blowing.. :shiver:

So far it's been 6 hours on the road today, navigating & detouring accidents from Stoddard <-> Keene .. The driveway may have to wait until tomorrow. ( It was dicey out there today, even w/ all wheel drive. )

I wanna go home and nap.. :camping:  .. Only 4 hours to go here @ work. :picard: Need more coffee. :coffee:

Have a great evening all !

Your Omega could eat (2) of the stove here and still have room for dessert. :D

I wouldn't worry too much about the good stuff being buried JT - it will warm up soon.. Save that good stuff !

All this talk of food is making me hungry. :beerbbq: Time for dinner! See Ya!

Me too Russell - I may have to kick the cat off the wool rug in front of the hearth & curl up in front of the stove later. :coldfire:

(I'm betting on the cat winning though - he's feisty. :saw:)

Funny thing, after chewing through the 2 bags of Nations Choice in no time and switching back to LaCrete-its only sipping through pellets again.
