I got the 'other' look will, temp turned down, stove is now in "modulate" (self governing temp.) mode, first time that's happened this season. (I suspect it will be happening a lot more over the next few weeks.)

Crazy weather day here - started in low 20's, up to mid-30's and windy by noon, solar gain had the house too warm by 5pm.
Only 4 hours on the road today: I should get my CDL, 'cause I feel like I'm driving long haul these days.. :picard:

    Driving Sucks. :p

:pete: Ugh. Have a great evening all !

Pretty raw out there and only in the 40's. Kind of felt a chill?? Well duh, Its Friday not Saturday and the stove stat is programmed for 66ºF when we are at work/school. House temp was 68ºF when I checked the stat!!

Stoves cranked now trying to get the temp up to 72ºF before the boss gets outta bed!! Luckily she slept in a bit..................

68, that's perfect in our house. 69 getting warm, 70 sliders open trying to cool it back down to 68. House hit 72 last night and the slider was opened and the whole house fan turned on

Sun came out this after noon and the temps hit in the 60's. So the stove is silent again. :)

Supposed to be a dandy day tomorrow. Stove shouldn't see much use but for the early AM hours.

Have a nice Easter weekend all!

Rain and cool weather here until Tuesday.

The later part of next week is supposed to be warmer and drier with maybe a 70 F popping up in the area.

Right now it's a one stove show.

Both stoves rested most of the day. Cleaned both of them this afternoon and the P61 has only fired once. Main floor stove still off since the t-stat is set at 71 and it is still 72 in here from the sun (was up to at least 74)

The little Francesca stove has been switching between level 3 ( 1.4 lb/hr ) and level 1 (1.0 lb/hr) in auto-temp. ("modulate") mode all night here, and I will re-tuning level 1 to .8 lb/hr today and shifting the rest of the settings up: the "Easter Snuggle Bunny" was too warm last night. :picard: ( I said "just sleep naked", that works for me. :D )

    * .8 lb/hr feed rate -just about- covers 3/4 of the bottom of the burn pot: this is one of the trickiest settings to get tuned in on this stove, basically starting at 1.0 air rate - 30 RPM, then keep backing down @ 10 RPM until enough material in the burn pot remains / the fire stays lit.

Need. more. coffee. :coffee: And a Easter Egg or two. :flipeggs:

    X3 - Happy Easter all !

Cooling off now and will lite it off here in a while.

Starting to get to that time of year more and more where it's a hit and miss.
