Welcome aboard Eric Schamell. I used to Visit a friend close to you in New Britain, Ct. I believe that close to you. I remember seeing the signs for your area. I traveled Rt. 84 many times!

great to put a face to the name Eric! Do the boys help on your wood hoarding? Did you end up getting that wood on the highway ramp?

Nice to put a face with a name. Great looking young men, glad you are keeping them outdoors with you. Good life lessons learned that way.

My kids help with the stacking part anyway, which is fine by me. When they get old enough I'll do what my grandfather did with me and let them have at it with the maul :) Funny you asked about the highway ramp ash-stash. I just checked this afternoon and someone beat me to it! I must've hemmed and hawed about it for too long. Lesson learned I guess.

    IT WASNT ME!
Seriously it wasnt. Too far for me to go for wood. If i happened to be in the area and i have room in the PU and i have time ill stop and grab.
Too bad about losing out on the wood. Ive learned about snoozing :sleeping:and losing :headbang:on scores, unless its a well hidden "stash". Have a few like that now. Couple for the Fall. Also depends on the "work involved" factor too! Im liking easier more and more the older i get.

So when the kiddo seasons everything we do with a taste of 'epic', makes for few pics of anyone just standing. We have a google file called badassery for all the epic pics. Here a few: me, the fam on a tree job summer of 2020 20200812_102528.jpg 20200806_170243.jpg 20200804_201245.jpg , and the odd tree job on my territory at werk.

Welcome to the FHC family. We love pictures, esp. pics of families cutting wood. We love pets also. So sit a spell, relax, and tell stories. Be comfortable here. It is a family forum.

Thanks, there are multiple instances of very similar user names. My old mind has to be careful and try not to mix them up:picard:
