We could also do other things. Shooting at the range if your into that, fishing (I'm not the best or an expert angler but enjoy it) or hunting if something is in season. We could wrench on some of my junk if you just like hanging out and working on stuff.

Sign me up for all the above

The bulge under my sweater on the right is a custom Glock 19 and the one on the left is two 17 round magazines

    I'm not paranoid.....

From your post I don't know why I thought you might of been from cantinadia, just looked I see your in AK. All I ask on return is that whenever my wife and I make it to alaska we can swing by and say hey. I would love to catch one of those barn door halibut!

    Cantadian?

    Thems fighting words

Since we are new friends I'll forget the mortal insult just this once :smoke:

Swing by and although the barn door halibut are few and far between any more we can get you out on a charter at the military Rec camp down at Seward

I hate fish (love fishing) but you almost always go home with enough frozen halibut to eat and eat and share with folks back home as well

My wife grills it with a mayo concoction and crushed macadamia nuts

People seem to love it :grizz:

I'll take dead mammal charred and rare

We sound a lot alike. I hate eating fish room I will eat it if prepared for me though. But people who know me don't make it for me. I love fishing though.

Too bad about the barn doors :-(

I think it would be cool to go snowmobiling on a few day trip or same with AtVs...in alaska of course.

My wife likes the chin hair. Except in the winter when I fill out the sides.

I thought I had posted in here before? Maybe it was the beard pics thread. Some of you may have seen these before - doing what I love to do.

:binoculars: Wow that's a lot of wood. Also the splitting wood with no hands. Impressive. I think I would lose a foot.

The first pic was at the Michigan get-to-gether this spring - that wood belongs to Backwoods Savage. I think that round was probably intimidated by the beard and gave up willingly before I could unleash the Fiskars upon it. :axe: Second pic is the trunk of a 4' black walnut - and that one does belong to me. :) My BIL kept the firewood, and I took the lumber.

And Shawn Curry was racing bocefus78 who was splitting with Pallet Pete log splitter. Notice too that he is splitting the correct way; vertically. And his trusty watchdog was also keeping watch to make sure he didn't switch it to horizontally.

Mrs TurboDiesel in the background. Got the 2 splitting in one picture here.

Many working and some resting in the background of this picture. (As you can see, I could not make the typing match the pictures as the forum moves where I had spaced. But you can figure it out.)

Looks like I could have learned a lot, met a lot of new friends. I am still trying to get caught up on the site. Busy time of year for me at work. I started as a guest around February. But the little wood I have I didn't feel worthy of you true hoarders. But now I know everybody has to start somewhere.
