    Sorry to hear about your "best friend's" passing. It's a very cool thing when we get the chance to be that tight with our fathers. And, very tough when we lose them. Hope you have lots of great memories to keep him close. My Dad died in 1990 and we too were close. His dry sense of humor is around me all day every day... :yes:

    That is a great pic.. You both look tough as nails in that pic. Both for different reasons.

    Yep, he was a tough, hard working guy Dex.

    Thanks guys, that was the hardest thing I have ever been through. I was fortunate that I got to work side by side with him for many years on jobs, he helped me alot on the farm and loved to cut firewood, he would have got a kick out of you guys. I was standing there holding his hand when he took his last breath, and went to be with the Good Lord. It made me relise not such a big tough guy after all, made me feel helpless and small, glad he is not suffering anymore.
