I still consider myself a young'n, and I am surprised by all the young'n's! No offense intended at all, but I thought I had been chatting with a bunch of old(read:wise) folk. BTW, thats a compliment.

Being one of the "old" ones, it is neat to be able to hear the "younger" point of view.

 

The feeling is more than mutual! I probably have more friends older than my parents than younger.

 

Six carbs... glug glug glug ...I get about 32mpg. But I didn't buy it for the mileage.

Nope, nuthin… hey, "without pics" maybe gettin older never happened? …

 

snow removal equip. nothing special, keeps 400 feet of blacktop clear along with couple thousand sq ft of pavers in the courtyard. Kubota 4x4 diesel does the driveway, JD has rubber edge blade for the pavers.

 

I'm only 67, must be one of the "youngest" on here! For me, it is a good day when I manage to stay upright!

Are you still getting around on crutches?

 

moved on to a cane! inside, I just hang on to things. my problem is my own fault, I am too big and need to deal with it. Easier said than done.

 

Man, can I relate to that! I'm lugging around an extra 50 lbs that sure does make everything I do … hurt better… I've been moving slowly to getting all of the ducks in a row on my wood op here. Once done, I'll enjoy it even more, and I'll stay with it all year, giving me the exercise I need. Trying to get as much as possible rigged so I don't have to bend all the way to the ground. Taking me a long time to get each phase rigged tho, but I'll get there.

A cane sounds better than crutches anyway. I had to tape a "mattress" to the tops of crutches I've used before. Kills my armpits…
