    That's just the limb were standing on, the knot you see is a fork. the trunk is farther on down. I had pics of it all but they got lost in a website crash. If I remember the trunk was seven feet across. we cut that puppy up for firewood. the trunk was full of bullets and wire and other stuff.

    Just think of the history that tree grew up in. I don't know how fast that tree would grow but it would have been standing there for awhile.
