Peas in a Pod, both of you.
What’s the worst that can happen?
It’s not as if you’d send second saw for rocket surgery.

With a ported 346, the 266 can be appreciated on the shelf

C’mon everybody is doing it. Don’t you want to be in the cool club? You can quit whenever you want to.

I don’t have a modified saw. Still debating if I can let one of my saws be away from home that long.

When i had two saws i came close to getting my 290 (since sold) MM/ported. With the cost and having multiple saws i see no reason to do so. If i used it many hours every day then yes i could see doing such.
Plus its a rabbit hole i dont wanna start down!

I was at M2theB's place last month and he fired up one of his ported Huskies (might have been one huskihl did, i dont remember) and i refused to slice a few cookies with it.
Just say "NO" attitude i guess.

That was either a missed opportunity or a wise move….. not really sure which.
I’ve never run a ported saw either :(

I think it was more my unfamiliarity with Huskies and i mean NO DISRESPECT from that comment. Had it been a Stihl ive owned and used on a regular basis id have something to compare it to...ported Vs. stock etc.

Geez, no "likes" on that one. o_O It's just a saw, have him fire it up and then just pull the trigger, hand it back. You've run a Hookie before, I've seen the pics. ;) Afraid you might like it too much? :D Imagine having 500i power in a 261 saw.
