    Shorts underneath, then chaps. :yes:

    I do that whenever I have to cut in hot weather. It's much safer and cooler than jeans.

    Went into town yesterday to auto parts store and the hardware store.
    Hardware store had a very good selection of saws and accessories.
    The new 500 seamed to be well balanced with a 20" bar.

    Was in a different area of Connecticut yesterday and passed a Stihl dealer. Had to stop of course. No 500i there either, and no word when they would get one.

    This dealer was in Haddam. None in North Haven, Wallingford or North Branford either. Which dealers mirnldi ?

    Both dealers I go to in Marion, OH had them last week, one of them had 4 in stock. One of them had a 25" light bar on it and I couldn't resist picking it up. It felt good... The salesman ran right over and offered to take it out back and let me start it. I politely said "NO WAY"... I can only imagine the wife :bug: checking the next credit card statement... :heidi: The force was strong in that one...

    My :makeitrain" days would be over. :tears: Dog house days would follow...
