    Just a thought
Might be better to test it out now, if by chance your stove has a defect and won't function properly :)

    Darn.
Been out of it for a couple weeks.

Yea + I got a little more of 14/15 wood to bring in.
(I think this is #11 on the how many times I handle the wood)

If the weather is good, may try to get some in today.

Then I'll put 2 rows in this section (to be 17/18 wood) of the 8 cord stacked out back, cut last Fall (Oct 14)

But, 38 tonight and 39 tomorrow night. I think we'll probably have a fire going soon. Looks like 52 may be the high today unless we get some sunshine.

Last fire was April 30 - no set date to end, just the last time I felt one was needed. It's supposed to be a little chilly the next couple of nights but I don't think cold enough to start a fire. It's been mid to high 80s here the last couple of days and I haven't even thought about a fire (at least not inside).

Sounds like us. I haven't had a fire since the end of April either. Going down to the mid 40's Wednesday night but if we get sun on Thursday it should warm up nicely. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say I won't be burning anymore this season.

I thought we were about done, then the wife lit a fire tonight. Nothing but wood heat here, but I intend to get some baseboards in this summer to make the insurance company happier. I doubt I will ever turn them on, but I guess the Missus will.

    Ouch!!!!

Nothing like that here. Frost predicted for tonight.

Last night I added a couple splits to the fire before going to bed and that was it. Nice in here this morning. Cooling off now. Will start another fire in a couple hours.

Cool and damp here, lows tonight around 40°F. Probably light a small fire to keep the chill out of the house overnight. Don't wanna hear how cold it is in the morning....

    42° forecast for here.
Got lots of the garden in, hoping frost is over with
17.5 hours of sun now, but still can get cold.
