After the first year I replaced the front wheels with solid ones, they went flat daily. The rear two finally got replaced when the bearings failed.
I have had a 2 wheel plastic tub one for about 5 years now. With the irregularities in the lawn surface I found that the 2 wheels were always a PITA. This spring I tried to replace a tire that kept going flat but gave up. I just couldn't match it. I finally dug around and found a single wheel axle from a rusted out steel tub in my garage so did a bit of "engineering" and ended up with a new no-flat single wheel barrow. It has served me well this year and we will see how it does in the future.
I tried rehabbing mine, wish you posted 3 months earlier I would have bought this. Turned handles (wooden) at HD were $30 alone!
If it does that again, wrap the metal with electricians tape then tap the rubber back on. It usually will stay on then.
My dad has a poly Jackson that has held up extremely well (he says it's over 20 years old. Not sure if the current ones are the same or not. I know the dual wheel one that home depot sells has bad reviews but that seems like a cheep line.
I know, right? I got mine free believe it or not, out of a dumpster. Put the 2 no flats on it for around $ 140, and she's good as new! It has flown off the trailer twice at 30mph, and sits outside 24-7 and just flat out keeps on going! After using it, I'd buy one at full price. My others cost roughly half that, all metal, heavy, and still wobble apart after a few years.
Yes but what size bar and chain do you run on that bad lad. I heard on Another Site that 6 cubes should be your small saw and you should never run more than 20" on em! Seriously I lol'd when you asked about cubes I thought you were making a joke at first.
