Dang you got rid of the solo!! I need to troll the classifieds more. Not that I wanted to buy it but just to keep up on saw exchanges.

Thought you loved that saw and were gonna keep it.

There was a guy that made adjuster pins for the 7900. They may fit the 681 as well.

I can't pick just one either. This is the arsenal I selected for yesterday's firewood duties:

    image-jpg.61211.jpg

    MS362cmr Mastermind - cross cutting
    MS460R Magnum - noodling
MS200T - for pruning a couple trees by my stacks. :)

I don't know. Haven't seen him post lately. If I ever get free time to play on the lathe I may try to make something like that. It may be past my skill level though.

Yeah.. It was a need over want.. I needed something and didn't want the wife to know ;) lol

The 440 Arctic and 681 (and secretly the ported 036 that Duane(Pa) ended up with ) are the only saws I regret selling. .

I'm not gonna read through the thread, but if someone would draw me a print on a napkin I'm sure I could whip a few out. CNC is da bomb. LOL

I'll see if I can get the dimensions. If I had one of those saws near me I'd pull it apart and measure.

Right now my go to saw is my Husky 555 ported by Brad. Plenty of power for just about any size tree I commonly run into and the weight is light enough it doesn't wear me out at the end of the day. I wouldn't even consider selling it right now.

MMWS MS260 for smaller stuff and a MS440 w/20" or MMWS MS440 Hybrid w/24" for the bigger stuff.

Awesome 1-2-3 punch. If I were to sell all my saws, these 3 would be the last to go.
