I've been an Old Mill light guy for years... I always say the best beer comes in a 30 pack. For high quality I like some seasonal stuff, right now its Sam Adams Winter lager.
I love both craft and crap beer. I guess my go to crap beer would be Genny Light. It's stupid cheap and brewed about 10 minutes from where I live. Favorite overall style is IPA's, and especially doubles and/or double dry hopped. Also partial to the New England styles that have become pretty popular. I cant pick a favorite beer but favorite brewery overall who's beers are available around here would be Singlecut.
damm right sir! My favorite would be Dithmarscher Urtyp (Local brew, Pilsener type far from beeing light), in the Winter time - decent dark beers. Like Andechser Doppelbock, Altenmünster Winterbier, Einbecker Weihnachtsbier or Stout from the Ricklinger Landbrauerei. Alot of your smaller breweries are doin some intresting stuff, but its hard to get and expensive. Tried some Sierra Nevada, Flying Dog IPA, some of that Rogue stuff...cant say anything bad but the price. Miller, Busch and Corona gets you drunk too, oh yeah so i was. but its more considered a "Notnagel" which means last resort and never again a whole crate maybe 2-3 bottles.
My area is absolutely flooded with micro breweries and bottle shops. Rochester has turned into a huge beer market, with certain world class micro breweries from across the country that were unheard of finding around here a year or two ago now popping up in local distro's. The craft beer world is ridiculously booming and I've yet to see any breweries around here go out of business. I can't imagine it being this way forever but who knows, they just keep opening new ones...
Yea. Same here Woody.......make a body think we all bunch of drunks LOL Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Session Beer = PBR Froofy Beer = Devils Tower (Local brewery. Stout infused with a Cabernet aged in whiskey barrels). 10.5% ABV which makes it as dangerous as it is delicious. Favorite Beer = Free
Well I have read trough this whole thread and only recognised a couple of beers and I have only personally tasted two of them Asahi and Corona, I have drank many corona's. But Fat Yak and Beez Neez by Matilda bay are my favourites. Fat Yak is a pale ale and Beez Neez is a honey wheat bear. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have really found a liking for that myself. I’m from CT, went to college in CT, and still live in CT. In college, the few guys that were from PA always brought some back because it wasn’t sold in CT. Back then I didn’t drink much beer, but since they started selling it back in CT again a couple years ago, I really enjoy them. Prior to that, I would have chosen a perfectly chilled Coors Light. Anything dark enough that you can't see light through it. New Glarus Road Slush is a favorite. Also like very hoppy brews, Founders All Day IPA is delicious and priced right. For everyday, quick grab a cold one after working outdoors all day I really like Blatz in a can.... <ducks for cover>
