I will still burn pellets, my wife likes the flame, ambiance and glow coming from the corner of the room...Of course she is a chick!!
Just to be safe, maybe consider getting a ton and leave it outside under tight wraps for a just in case scenario. You never know.
If that buzzard was a terminator, it could travel back in time to 2017 and steal B's stash before she had a chance to burn it.
The reason being for less space is my son who I missed very much moved back home to save up for a house . So he needed room for an office and some storage . The housing market is crazy right now around here . Plus I do have the mini split now so the pellet stove is not doing all the work.
I received an e-mail today from SIB Woodpellet Warehouse with an update on the pellet market. Prices are stable, they extended their early buy price through the end of August ($239 for MWP). Supply is good, better than last year at this time. No transportation or raw material issues are expected for the local mills, but Canadian mills may have transportation issues.
Stable prices and a good supply is always nice to hear! Meanwhile, I occasionally find good deals on really good pellets (I usually buy MWP's from TSC). I got the ton on rebranded Cubex off CL for $125, today I picked up 10 bags of Blazers for $45 - which is close to 1/2 price around here.
Glad you got them! Curious to hear what you think of them. Expect it will be around Jan or Feb, before we hear.
I have about 6 tons of stove chow leftover from last season, and i didnt want to stock up so early but i just ordered another 6 tons and they come tomorrow. The weirdest things have been out of stock this year and since we rely solely on pellet heating, I figured i better buy now in case i cant later. Unfortunately I think its green supremes, but they get the job done. I also have the option this year to get a few mini splits installed, which put out some great heat during shoulder seasons etc, and free to run now that i have 44 solar panels on the roof. I'm holding off, not sure how winter business is going to be.
