Well I'll take the first stab at it: Somewhere with a lot of dead ash wood and some bitterly cold temperatures....

Opened ton #3 today. I hope thus winter isn't long and drawn out. I'll have to decide if I want to gamble with ruining low or rick paying more at the pellet houses. Our box stores carry it year round but I think the price changes.

Been to Vegas once...that was enough for me. Would rather get on a bike there and ride out to Hoover Dam. I was there with 2 others from work. On the day we chose an outing away from the stip- they went golfing-boring. I went with the off road tour into Red Rock Canyon :D

I used that warranty for 3 free alternators on my 1995 Subaru. :) That car had 302K of throuble free miles (1 clutch and 1 timing belt-both replaced after 200K and neither were failures, more precautionary from normal wear). I still got 500 bucks when I sold it. It also took me 1.5 hours each way for work and never once stayed home for a NH snow/ice storm. Best car I ever owned

People spend lots of money pointlessly. My personal opinion but then I don't gamble either.:D

We have friends who go to Vegas to see the shows, explore the surrounding area and enjoy the warmth. they never go gambling so if it is sightseeing pics (outdoor scenery) I guess pics won't be that bad. :D

Yes it was. Ice storm of 97 was a 3 hour commute each way. Pretty sure that myself and a friend were the only 2 idiots to actually go to work from our town that day. He worked in Seabrook or Hampton NH and I worked in Salem NH at the time.

So I am being the housewife this week instead of Campinspecter. He is recovering from surgery and can't lift anything over 10 lbs. Running up and down stairs feeding the wood boiler will definite fit into my exercise plan. So this morning it is running the boiler, laundry, grocery shopping, dispensing drugs and meal making. Clear and frosty outside at 0 C (32 F).

Might be able to use Campinspecter's clothes line outside.

Most of these things don't weigh over 10 lbs. Some things that used to be done in 5 min. might now take a half hour, but so what.
Tell Campinspecter that we wish him a speedy recovery.

Cold today, 0'F this AM and a nice burn down on my over night fire.

Took it easy this AM and then went to go out and found my Envoy wouldn't start. I put the trickle starter on it, and it started with less than 1/2 hour of charge, but that means new battery time for me. My mechanic lives and works out of his house right up the street so I had a new one in by noon.

Took it easy this PM and threw some wood up on the deck, and listened to some oldies on Pandora. Lotta these guys.

Made myself a little snack at 3:00 Honecrisp Apple, some Brie, some Vermont cheddar, some seedless grapes and some deli olives. That, and some seltzer water, a warm comfy house, and a good book.

Who's pooping in the yard? Your dogs I hope? Doesn't sound like a fun chore.
