I'm in total agreement Schlot. All we can do is be faithful and let His love in us shine through and touch those who need it most. I used to explain it to Sunday School kids; "think of your heart as a great big diamond - as His love shines on us it radiates out in every direction and affects everyone it touches - even though we may not realize it." ... just a tired old man from 'Lake Woebegone." LOL

Ditto. It was exciting as far as work goes, but I don't get excited about work.

Drove through winter fog. It was like crossing rivers, clear then a band of fog, then clear again.

Watched the outside temp guage on the dash. Temps would fall 6 or 7 degrees then climb back up again as I passed through each.

Alright ladies and men who shop for the ladies in their lives.... I was looking to get my wife a flannel shirt with liner (like fleece) for Christmas.... something about a woman in flannel.... but I am coming up with poor options. LL Bean seems overpriced based on reviews, but elsewhere I got nothing (looked at Carhartt, Duluth); the only one I liked was in the Sportsman's Guide and have zero experience with their stuff.

Where do y'all shop for this type of outdoorsy women's clothing?

Do you have Work World stores down there? Denver Hayes is a good brand.

Now I know this computer is flubbing up. It looks like I was logged in for the past two days! I always log off when I'm done posting my drivel. I've been having internet troubles also.
We happened to be in a Costco a little over a month ago. After doing a couple laps around the store (I always get separated from 99 lbs), I found her in the clothes section and she was looking at those fleese lined flannels. Albeit, they aren't the highest quality, but for someone that uses them for a walk or around the house when she is chilled, it just right. Womany colors, also....pink, purple, etc. She picked one up and seems to like it just fine.
Don't know how it holds up to the wash machine yet though.....she hasn't worn it that much.

Better to be over, than under an anvil. They are very heavy and pointy.
