    Porch enclosed. Steady rain now. It took some time to get the fire going, but it started going very well. Hopefully the rain won't put it out. Time for a break.

    My BIL got his finger tore up in a log splitter accident today. 9 stitches added...some blood lost...and some pride lost.

    Sorry to hear that. Wood splitters, chain saws, table saws and snow blowers all have one thing in common.............they do not have a conscience, and take no prisoners.

    Was splitting vertically and a round popped all of a sudden and his finger got pinched between the one on the splitter and one on the ground next to it. Another reason to split horizontally.

    Just came back from some x-mas shopping for the wife. I'm really glad I went out on a rainy weeknight after 7:30, it was very quiet out there, just the way I like it.

    Caffeine going down. I guess I'll make smoothies for everyone this morning.

    Raining more here. After all that work to get the fire going yesterday it rained so much it put it out.:picard: Oh well. I'll try it again after it dries out some and when we will get some rain or maybe snow. Fire-water might be in the forecast for that pile.:whistle:

    Smoothie here this a.m., too. You got all the rain Gas, it all went south of us. We were supposed to get a good dose of ice but ended up with a little drizzle and not much else. :thumbs: Back on the road again today, my clients await.................... Everyone have a great day.

    Man everybody's makin smoothies! Just coffee for me this morning. Another rainy crappy day here. I wasn't going to get much done at work with this weather so i took the day off. Good day to spend hanging out with baby piney :) .

    Maybe I'll go light the shop stove and let her organize some hardware :thumbs: . Give this kid a bucket of bolts and washers and she's occupied for a good while.

    Used my trailer today to go look at some free wood... Released my coupler lock and set it on my back bumper.. Any idea of where im going with this yet?



    Yep... Drove off without grabbing the coupler lock.

    I retraced my steps up to about 2 miles, traffic is heavy right now and its dark out.
    Coupler lock is black.. SO that doesnt help matters..


    Someone picked it up or its wellllll off the road.
    Crap.

    At least you didn't loose the trailer. Coupler lock is easy to replace....grab a beer and considered it a lesson learned.

    Was hoping to take care of a few things outside after work today but it's just too crappy out. Rain. Rain. Rain.

    Anywho. We had a nice Broiled Fish dinner with cheesy Pasta and salad. All home made by wifey.

    Now watching the news of another shooting, this one in California. I heard a bit about it at work earlier. But waited until after dinner and kids are off playing in another area to see what is happening. Crazy.
