Bought (3) LED work lights from Princess Auto, up here. Mounted 2 facing forward and one facing rearward on the R.O.P.S. and wired them into the the existing lighting circuits on the tractor. Work great and the power draw is really low................

The wind was legit here last night. I was driving straight into on the interstate at 75 MPH and my truck down shifted a couple time on flat ground. Trucks were either pulled off or wandering all over the road.

Taking the dog to the vet today to get her spayed.

Too windy to do anything in the woods. Thought about doing some splitting but I'd probably just get blasted with dirt and dust.

Might be better off cleaning up the shop and working on the boss's list.

Big storm last night made an enormus mess out of the property. Shingles missing, siding off hanging gutters. The greenhouse damm near blew away! Strong winds today so I had to come home and run the generator for a bit to cool the fridges and cover the greenhouse up till spring. Big big mess!:headbang: heavy duty zip ties are my friend today...and the pics are after I picked up most of the yard debris!

Dam Pallet Pete ! Bummer about all that wind and damage. Hope you can get everything buttoned back up and into good shape before the snow flies. Looks like you have most of it done already. Nice work. How's things going with the home projects?

Well I busted some azz this morning cutting more stumps down to size. I dulled one chain between yesterday and this morning and put another sharp one on. I noticed it was chewing the chit out of some stumps and realized I had gone from one of my semi-chisel chains to one of the full chisel chains. o_O Man, when those things are sharp the 680 eats some chit up! Then the rain started so just as the sprinkling started I said the hell with it I'm starting a couple of piles on fire. Got two good size ones going and the rain started up pretty good soon after. Good timing. I then went back out a couple times and loaded by hand because I did not want to tear the ground all up again with the tractor and the mud. Already bad enough as it was but I leveled some of it off the other day and it is better than it was. I was so sweaty and muddy I had to come in and strip everything off (Cover your eyes!:zip:) and throw it into the washing machine. Took a hot shower and relaxed for a while in clean, dry comfort. Now unfortunately I am going to go back out and do it all again. :picard::rofl:  The rain has been steady for a while now and if I want this stuff to burn up I have to muscle it right into the hottest coals and get it going again. Getting rid of a lot of stuff though. And getting my exercise for the day all in one. Later.
