Let us know what goodies you pick. From that list over there, I'd be getting the Homelite410 vice.

I know I may well be in the minority here, but this time of year, I prefer the hot chocolate over other "more spirited" beverages.

All the saws were picked already, except an older Homelite, which was still a nice saw. But I chose a line that said, Husqvarna Forester's Helmet, Husqvarna Chaps, and Leather work gloves! Saaaaweeeeeet!

Bit the bullet and did some shopping for the next mini-project - upgrading the baby 'bota's lighting to LEDs.

Grabbed one for the front and one for the rear. 54W combo for the front and a 36W flood for the rear.

These are the types of projects I actually enjoy doing. Hopefully get to it before any snow flies.

Cool. Hey, cnice_37. I have two holes up front and on back of my TLB for mounting lights. But I am no electrician. Could you tell me what lights are best and what I have to do to install them? Is wiring them a PIA? How do I install switch to turn them on/off, etc.?

Is there any decent food there? Or do they need your entire bank account for a dinner?

Sure, I'll do my "build" thread but many ways to skin the cat. They come in Friday, so stay tuned.

It's pretty pricey. I'm too wore out to eat much though.

I'm looking at a kit for the L35, not from Kubota. But "built for your specific series tractor". Kit includes wiring, switch, and two lights. Over $100 though. But I see kits with four lights for $69 on eBay that look nice. But it does not say how long wires are and it does not include waterproof switch.:picard:

Last Wed. I stayed up to 11 PM baking Christmas fruitcakes. Today I baked shortbread. Both are stored away until the holidays but not before a little testing of shortbread was done. All is gooder

I can say that I never enjoyed fruitcake. Ever. Even wondered why it existed.
One year not long ago, Mom got a fruitcake made by some monks in Eagle Harbor Michigan in the Keewenaw peninsula. Brandy was used in the recipe. Man, was that ever good! It is sold for $50 on-line. Think I'll just wait until I get up there next time.
Maybe you can have a little side income? ;)

I did some searching, mostly on tractorbynet and youtube, go get an idea of what kind of wattage (or lumens) I wanted. I think this will be plenty for my application.

Lights were just over $60 and switches $10 for the 2. I don't see the need for a relay for relatively low current, and I have fuses and wiring on hand. But I can see this as a $100 project otherwise. There are $12 18W deals that will probably blow away what I've got now, but hey what if a football game breaks out in my back yard... in the middle of the night? Can never be too prepared.

I was going to re-mount my halogens this year anyways and one burnt out on me. Good time to do it.
