Mine didn't have any worms. I think you can see the worm holes when you gather them.

I hadn't thought of adding any additional devices.

I'm actually trying to remove or go with more efficient devices.

Trying to get my electrical down under 4800 KWh per year on average.

Will likely plant a clothes line this spring.

Did you see Campinspecter's clothes line thread?

    http://firewoodhoardersclub.com/forums/index.php?threads/campinspecters-clothes-line.793/

It has really made a difference. Clothes last longer when they aren't heated and beaten to death in a dryer. Campinspecter has also created an indoor drying area for the rainy season. Dehumidifiers are used to keep the moisture in the house down. Takes less power and creates less static buildup on the clothes.

If you've got a smart tv you just need to download a Roku app?

It is likely I already or will have enough apps. The TV comes with a load of them already on the device, the DVD unit I got to go with the TV also is a smart device.

I sort of collect some things software.

Hell, I even have a number of heavy iron operating systems that I run under hardware emulators on this machine. That is what happens to people like me who were bit benders.

I'll have to look at that thread. I reduced the wear and tear (and the 'tricty use) by using the delicate low heat drying cycle. I found that on high heat and normal that most of the heat was just being sent out the vent without having a chance to dry anything.

No, don't think that's a thing. But he can get an app for the services he mentioned.

And a whole lot more. I have to go slow because the boss doesn't get along with technology and she just got a new smart cell phone and I switched out the home phone system. So I need a cooling off time between things. She isn't saving a penny but she and youngest are paying the same amount for more services. I just cut $20.00+/month out of my bills. I also dropped Cable TV. Tons of channels and nothing worth watching on nearly every one of them. I'll be happy if I still have my head when she encounters the new TV and DVD system.

I'm also looking at a new computer this one is a 2004 machine. It is still faster than I am but some of the newer software is what I'd call bloatware and websites are also full of bloat these days. One I visit seems to have an average page size of over 3MB which when broken down into data grams is one crap load, not to mention the latency introduced by all of the DNS look ups and connection overhead. Even at 15Mbps things tend to slow down. I can't do a lot about the transmission speeds but I can at least reduce the rendering times on this end.

So, you can download apps for it? Or just preinstalled ones?

Took a few days off from work...use em or lose em vaca days.

Made a batch of gravy. Put hamburg, sausage and chuck beef stew meat in for flavor. Work is done now it will simmer for the rest of the day to meld all them flavors and cook down a little. Having pasta tonight and maybe make a small lasagna tomorrow for Saturday (every lasagna has to sit at least a day before it tastes its best). Will make at least a lazy lasagna -mix ziti with a lasagna ricotta mixture, mix in some mozzarella pieces, put in a casserole dish and bake.

Will freeze the rest in meal size containers. MMMM smells great in here, love the smell of garlic
