Glad you had a good Steak and a few good beers. That sounds good. Good luck with those Cabinets. Got shims?

Today it is calling for 80% or more chance of rain. I'm going to get out and see if I can get something done outside before it rains.

Wow. Nice job J.S. They look great. How did the base cabinets go? Much trouble with the floor?

If you look close in the pic you can see a 2" shim under the cabinet on the far most right side. The first one on the left side is sitting on the floor.

Well the only place close by the house that rented a wood splitter just closed it's doors for good. Aubachon Hardware packed it up because of too much competition. Bummer. (Lowe's, Ashley's, and then TSC came in.) I really like Lowes and TSC though. But, I use to rent Aubachon's Iron and Oak splitter for $60 for the day. I could split a lot of wood in 8 hours. They were also a convenient location for me. I drive by there everyday. I am going to have to decide if I am going to buy a splitter in the future, don't have the money right now. I am not going to split 10 cord of wood every year by hand. o_O That is for sure. Hmmmmm. I have a good pile of wood started for next year. Probably 5-6 cord bucked and piled now.

Watch craigslist really close, I got a year old Husky for $700. It will always be worth that much,

Is the site a little slow? Seems like it is when I am using my laptop. Don't know if my laptop is a little slow or not. But when clicking on alerts, or moving to a different thread/forum it seems to take too long.

With the help of my dad and a friend we updated the old wiring in one of my outbuildings yesterday. We added a switch and new outlet and now i can see when i take a late night walk to grab firewood from the bin. All that during a rare january thunderstorm with 40mph winds. There was sideways rain!

Today i think me and the wife are gonna go out back and throw a few rounds down range. :D

Refilled the sand supply at the transfer station this morning and emptied the recycle pile that was in the garage, the place was really busy, everyone made it off their lots and are filling up for the next mess.

Now it is time to just take it easy

Wasting await whilst I wait for the old lady to make cinnamon rolls. I estimate I've lost at least 40 lbs so far this morning. I might be exaggerating.

Yesterday we made some Black Lager and another Octoberfest. In the process we decided to go old school and chill the wort in the snow! It worked great and took about 20 minutes to chill the wort. :D Not to mention it smelled great...

I'll see you in the 2000 club soon Pete. I will stock the fridge before you get here, and of course there will be a roaring fire.
