Went to fire up the gas grill for dinner and one of the kids had turn a knob and drained the gas. I usually shut it off at the bottle but forgot. Cast iron skillet instead, I reckon.

Just spent about 2.5 hrs with the wheelbarrow taking wood to my garage for the wood burning stove. Not sure if I'm really excited about that, or sad about the thought of cold. Either way I'm a little tired and having a brew with my two best friends (my dogs)

I keep telling myself that I'll buy a spare large LP tank for the grill.

And I keep forgetting to actually do it.

I figured I'd give some Italian meals a try. You know, spagett, Lasagna, Chicken Parmesanny, beer, I mean manicotti, stuffed shells, maybe even try Pizza? I don't know about that though.

We have two tanks. Always try to have a full spare on hand. I remember how we cooked out on the grill a lot when the power went out in ice storm of 98. Very handy, and tasty!

I've got a weber 22" kettle grill, as well.
Some things I like better with charcoal, some with gas.

The gas station a mile and a half away has LP tank exchange if I need. Plus plenty of LP refillers if needed.

It would just be nice to have a spare right there. The charcoal grill would take too long to fire up if I run out.:emb:

For the cost of a new full tank it will be worth it to have it on hand. I may even buy a third tank. Just love being able to fire up the grill. I know the chances are slim, but imagine a loooong term power outage from a storm. How handy the propane :chef::cheers::thumbs:grill will be! :grizz::thumbs:

Speaking of charcoal...my last batch of cherry charcoal didn't cook enough to gas everything out...smells like candy right now. Unbelievable smell. Great. Now I'm hungry.
