    Thankfully the road just got plowed. All stocked up now before the drifts return.

    I WILL NEVER LET THIS HAPPEN AGAIN! WAY TOO SCARY!

    That's my mailbox in there. It's about 8' from the edge of the snow too.

    We deserve this, we live in Michigan. It's been way too easy for several years.

    Yeah, it was so nice at work that they turned the sprinkler on for us to run through. No, wait... I got that wrong... The emergency sprinkler system froze and burst. Anyway, there was a lot of water.

    Still haven't seen the plow yet. Neighbor called and talked to county highway dept and they said maybe tomorrow...but probably not. Dead end road is nice until the snow gets so deep. -18 tonight. Load the stove in a few minutes and hunker down.

    We will try to get off of the lot tomorrow, it is uphill both ways and that hill and the driveway have lots o ice on them. I went down to the mail box using my creepers.

    Waiting on supper. The old lady wanted split peas soup and I found some discounted eye of round steaks that need used tonight. Steaks go with pea soup, right?
