Just got a call from my older brother he's changing jobs(Doctor) and is off until mid October so he's coming down to visit me in AL:thumbs:

My first reaction to his new job(federal prison doctor and getting out of emergency medicine)was: so you'll be stitching up guys posteriors:rofl:  - I just re-watched American History X couple weeks ago.
It'll be good to see him, he's not brining his wife and my two adorable nephews they send me hilarious videos of the boys being boys all the time

Up @ 4:30 this a.m. to coffee up before I leave to do a charter bus drive on the local military base. Moving troops back and forth to the training areas. I remember having to march to and fro when I was in, but I guess this is the new Army now................................Either way, they have my respect and gratitude for the job they do..............

Caffeine time here as well. Lots to do but morning is already to be broken up. I have to watch kids early and bring them to doctors office for allergy shot for one of them. By the time I get to working in the trees it will be 9.:picard:It always seems like there is something that makes the time to work on the things that need to get done shorter. Oh well. Make the best of it.

Couple of my competitors have really dropped the ball this year which has made my work phone ring more than ever. It's been one hell of a season and still going strong although right now its a manageable pace compared to last 6 months. Its normal for it to slow a little around the holidays and back to school time and then mid Sept will start the big push towards the end of the season mid December. The lil woman has been busy with extra catering events and retraining staff at her restaurant managerial position also.
That said this summer there has been little time for anything but work,,,,,,,, makes Jack a dull boy. Last weekend was the first time we said eF' it and just bailed on work. Rode the wheeler to camp and over the mountain to the go cart track. Good times. Hopefully the eF'it bug bites again this weekend!

Not bad. Missing some of the strength I had in that arm. Also find it gets sore if I give it a good work out on things like wood etc. Can't lean it on a hard surface cause the metal pushes on the skin and you really feel it. All in all though I have about 98% use so all is good.

Ugh! It's friggin hot! 83 w/60% humidity. Had to quit working in the woods today after about 5 hours of working off and on, and taking water breaks.

Doin' the same thing here Gas.
Went out to the stacks, loaded up the small trailer, drove it back up to the shed,....then came in the house for a little reprieve from the torture.
These are the kinds of days I miss having a pool. Not the work involved though.

Well I have put down two large glasses of 75% water and 25% V-8 fushion juice on ice. And now I am having a big smoothy made by my very cool wife. Blueberries, yogurt, banana, etc. Trying to stay hydrated after that big sweat fest of working on the trees. :dennis: Now after a shower, lots of liquids and A/C, I think I may go out and give it one more push for an hour. :saw: Trimming up and thinning these trees is creating some Ash firewood for the boiler as well!:stacke:

Lol. Thanks man. Just a number of things seemed to hit all at once. Unexpected big bill, nasty ex wife, work has been really tough and way too much time away from home.

I turned to my bride the other day and said " Remember when we were kids and couldn't wait to be an adult? What were we thinking!? :)

I'm sure it would help if I could get out and split some wood. :)
