Wow - I got to work and so much happened on FHC I can't get caught up. WW chasing down bugs, others fighting humidity, stuck in airports, riding bicycles. - pages of this thread just whipping by. You all are having too much fun.

A very different day than usual for the first day back. There was no access to either our old record keeping program or our new one so I got caught up on emails and other projects before we dive into learning the new program. Lunch was good as well. Came home after work to company taking us out to dinner as well. Bonus!!

Just pulled a section of wall studs out in the basement to open things a bit. Dad "spoke" to me again this morning... make sure I bend all of those nails over on that bottom 2x4 before you set it down so you won't step on a nail later. I have done that for over 50 years now. Never stepped on a nail (yet)... I've heard it can get exciting when ya do tho... :hair:

Campinspecter is very vigilant about removing all nails in boards as soon as he takes something apart especially when the kids were young. Makes it easier to stack and handle.

Been for a walk, getting breakfast ready and getting ready to go for work. Have to fend for myself for lunch as Campinspecter is taking the r-pod down island for some work on it. Slowly getting back into the swing of things again.

my dad was same way I did it for hours... 20 years later I was nailing something together my nephew could not do.

Dad says "if you can hit tip of bent nail out.. pretty easy drive straight one in ain't it!"

I just thought it was dad keeping us out of hair.. got penny for each nail in can though!.
