Probably. There was a lot of water on the ground. I think she feels most secure in her crate lately tho. She hangs around it during storms all the time.

Our kids wanted to build a tent in the living room with blankets, furniture, pillows, etc.

"Dad, you have to help." "Why?No, I don't." "But you are awesome at building tents. Daaaad. Pleeeeeease!" "Ohhhh, fine!" :picard:Then the dogs hid in there with them to get away from the thunder.

Worked in the garden. Took the boy fishing...caught 3 catfish...then went to lunch. Built a retaining wall for the mother in law. Made 7 quarts of salsa and some jelly and canned it. Dug...peeled...sliced...and froze 2 gallons of carrots. I think that's it. Busy day.

How do you freeze your carrots? Do you blanch them?

Went down to get the trash can on the quad and as I got off a car pulled down the bottom driveway, stopped and I heard car doors open/close and then the vehicle slowly proceeded up the driveway as I walked to move the trashcan back to the garage - one of my handguns was in the truck but I'm walking across my yard as this car drives up, stops backs down in front of me and a thousand things run through my mind - if it were light out I'd confront them, all I could see were eyes on me so I made my presence known and called the police.
Sheriff's deputy showed up 45mins later and said he'd be just as cautious and had no idea my driveway was even here...

GF was laying in the pool today and some church folks managed to keep the dogs from alerting her as they made their way to the house. I told her coincidences on two random visits in one day but she'll have the Judge and mini-14 ready should anything come up tomorrow

The headers were massively undesized. Also big problems with some of the walls. Going to be a nightmare to design the fixes.

The structural engineer should have put stronger specs in the bid, or the roofer should have spec'd the job and spoke up.

No engineer was used...would have been a lot cheaper to begin with engineered plans than having to design a fix now.

thats a lot of building to not use an engineer for some structural design
    No codes there?
