They were used for supporting steel building components and steel siding. Seem awful heavy for a wood like pine...but then again I am pretty tuckered out. :)

I horked another 5 of them before I bugged out for the day.

Split a chunk and that'll be your answer. Oak and Pine (or any other softwood) are night and day.

Resaw 'em for boards, then make a table or something.
    Look to be about 4x6"?
I like the idea to cut a piece to maybe give you a gooder idea what they are.

They are resting now. Once I can open the foil to pull them, I'll provide my typical bullet hole in dinner pic I always post every time the shoulder shot gets cooked. I don't like tracking dinner.

Oh....I'm still on the beers too.

    It's laughing at the axe.

It's really great wood, but it sucks to split with anything but hydros.

Nice work Canadian Border VT! I have the 5 foot Woods Brush Bull for behind my Kubota. I used it not long ago on the trail through the woods. Where I could, and had to stay off parts because it was toooooo wet. Deer fly a "challenge" here too!

Yes it will! Being a gas engine, it should start easier than a diesel too when the temp plumments. No electricity at the farm yet.
