Soaking it in water with the husk on helps it cook nice. STEAM cooking in the husk. Soak it for half a day in water. Then cook it on a metal rack over a wood fire, or on the grill. Cook it in the husk. Then, when the husk are dark brown and some black and after you have turned them a few times, take them off the fire/grill and when temperature is right peel the husk back and turn them in a stick of butter quickly. Then salt the hell out of it and devour! I usually leave the husk on just pulled all the way back and I can hold the ear of corn right on the end on the outside of the pealed back husk. Delicious!

After a quick walk through the woods and down the road for some excercise between 9-10, I will cook the bacon for the wife. Then she will cook the eggs and Englush Muffins. Maybe she will make Omelettes today. Cheese and onions. Mmmmm

Our tomato plants are in five gallon buckets with some pea gravel with holes drilled in the bottom, we had so much rain I used this to pretty much save the plants until the sunny weather moved in, it worked on our plants, I'll have a pic later.

Bought a cheapo Skil table saw to replace an old cheapo Skill table saw. I had messed up the blade insert and they don't sell a replacement anymore. The new one appears not as well built but a has lot of safety stuff on it. I put the old one at the curb; lets see if anyone picks it up (the road doesn't get that much traffic).

We had that weather yesterday. Hot humid, and then mega stormy.

We were on the lake chilling out until mother nature got a little too grumpy and storms rolled in. So we got off the lake.

We are going back out in the boat shortly. It's suppoded to be 82 and humid today, but the dew point is supposed to drop this afternoon.

Not familiar with that saw, but can you make an insert for it? Plywood works, or resaw some hardwood to the right thickness.....use the old one as a template.

So, we wake up today and decide to go to our daughter's place in Ucluelet on the west coast of Vancouver Island. We are taking the woodsplitter to split wood. (other people take RVs when they go on holidays). They had a big spruce tree and a fir tree taken down in their yard. Our daughter says it will be an hour's worth of work for the woodsplitter but many days for her husband to work through it. A real FHC holiday!!!

Had an appointment set with a guy this morning at 9am concerning some work for them. They picked the day and time. They still are not here. What is it with so many people doing things half assed anyway?!
