    Managed to get thru the storms and keep power on all night. Others not so lucky. Lots of trees down in other areas. I'm so far behind work from the rain I can't even go scrounging for wood :(
    Oh....more rain this afternoon. :hair:At this point, I'm not surprised. 8th wettest July on record with 17 days to go still.

    oh so summer has finally come to Vermont so last few day are 85 plus heat and humidity and we are seeing this big yellow thing in the sky! So after 9 inches of rain in June I needed to really add some chemicals and vacuum the pool. Finally got it looking clean over the weekend and and really looking good.. then pool pump dies... more accurately throws GFI breaker it's plugged into:hair:

    A new one is like 200 so I figure since it's broke I can't really hurt it by tearing it apart.. So I do find a foot long grass snake in windings:bug:

    so cleaned it put it back together and it works!!!:D

    This almost never happens for me so a good day.. plus little one will be happy..

    I was trying to get some sleep after working all night in the hard azz rain we had. Wife wakes me up and says the neighbor kids are picking your berries. It's been an ongoing thing trying to get them to understand this is my property not yours. I feel bad for them cause its a messed up situation, but I work hard and it's not like they are just wild berries.

    I teach my kids to respect other people property as best I can. If they do it when I'm home who knows what they do when I'm not. I hate to be "that" neighbor but I've tried the nice approach.

    Why do I go to the gym to run off 500 calories and then come home and eat it back on?
