    So I am feeling like a virtuous woman as I washed the duvet off the dogs' bed, (Campinspecter hung it out on the line for me), made out our shopping list for tomorrow and after procrastinating all day, went down and cleaned the window frame in my sewing room. Then worked on a sewing project. It would have been so easy to jump into sewing with my back to the dirty window frame but I didn't. Also got some computer playing time in as you can tell.

    Only dumped about 108 gallons of water out of the basement..... Thank goodness all things are up off the ground.... Have a bit more to clean up... Then fan time....:doh:... I have a system installed to evacuate the water.....

    They started to get to be the "boy that cried wolf" around here - fine by me, not the general idiot missing their American Idol.
    Weather technology has come so far in just the past 10yrs of living here. People tend to let their guard down though, the storms that came through here in April 2011 and even small ones that smack a neighborhood in the middle of the night - it's easy to think you're out of harms path

    Tonight is my Friday after a seven day stretch - how's that for you 9-fivers after a 3-day Holiday weekend?:drunk:
    7days of grilling, fishing, and possible wood hoarding are in my future.....probably need a few beers for all that fun

    Took the little one out back as the sun went down tonight and picked some blueberries. . Then we grabbed my dad and she showed him where the good bushes were.
    Added some of those blueberries to my vanilla ice cream :drool:

    AC should be fixed tomorrow... The storms put a damper on replacement tonight. But the storms brought the temperature change that helps out. Actually it wasn't too bad on Sunday, it was warm but bearable...
