If you do here's a word to the wise. On the lower front side I put a decorative hanger to hold a flower pot to make it look a little nicer. The first plant my bride put in there was a real potted plant.

The squirrels thought it was a step stool for them, so within a week the plant was trashed from all the foot traffic.

That hanger now holds an artificial plant. :)

I almost messed up real bad today. Can't believe I would do something like this. I was sitting here and then all of a sudden realized I forgot to get the beer on ice this morning. Close call. Learn from my (almost) mistake.

Call me crazy, but I replaced this wheel bearing on the riding mower. New one of the left...."slightly" used one on the right. :)

Ribs are on the smoker, sauce is made, and I only have beans and corn on the cob left to do. No room on the smoker for those, so the weber gasser will be used. When the ribs go in foil, I may toss them on the gas and put some smoke on the beans.

My beer is still in the truck! Lukem thanks for the reminder.

While I stacked my elm today I decided to put out a box of uglies and shorties by the curb from my ever growing ugly pile.

I thought today was a good day...in this country of plenty ... to share with others. I modified the saying "pay foward" to "give forward" so it wouldn't confuse anyone that the wood was free.

If you have a motor supply near by (won't help on a holiday weekend) they usually run ~$100-120, easy DIY fix
Too bad the HVAC guys didn't check current draw prior to leaving or they may have actually fixed your AC prior to the weekend.

    That's a great gesture man:thumbs:
When I read the box it said "give for word" - I figured might have been beer-thirty or something;)

Darn dog got out last night. Didn't notice until it was time to go to work. I'm sure he spazzed when about every other neighbor started with the fireworks. He has anxiety real bad when separated from my other dog. Was hoping he'd be back this morning. No such luck.
