PW rally looks to be a little light this year, hotel isn't packed full of tow rigs like normal. Fair grounds was pretty full, but still not like years past. Did catch a quick glimpse of a beautiful cream and green PW on Michelin XL's... to bad it was on a trailer!

She doesn't think we need to marry honestly. After waiting 4yrs for her ex to sign a non-contested divorce decree I think I have a keeper, and she's never had a better life.
We're happy in our life and don't need some document to bind us together.

Agreed. Everyone has their own beliefs on this subject and they should be respected. I'm glad you guys are happy, the piece of paper won't do anything that your not doing now.

Thank you all for the well wishes. Appreciated. My parents are well. Our youngest was not feeling good the last day or so so Mom took her to the clinic today while I worked a little O.T. Turns out she has strept throat.:picard:

So the anniversary dinner and movie was put on hold. Oh well. We will do that next weekend sometime.

I look at it this way. I got to visit with my parents early in the morning. Then go to the dump. Visit with wife and kids a bit. Work 6 hours of O.T. Cut some grass with my 11 y.o. daughter. Then have dinner with family and watch a movie. The girls watched a girly movie and my wife and I and son watched the last of The Hobitt. Battle of the Five Armies. A good day. Not as good as working outdoors in the woods when it is cool out, but still good.

I look at it this way. I am very fortunate. My wife and I both have good jobs. We all have each other, good health, a safe home, and good food. What more could a man ask for?

I get it. My wife and I lived together before we got married for 7 years. We even bought a house together after 4 years of living together, renting a house after she moved from Portland to Wisconsin.

We've been happily married for 4 years in August, and together 12 years this July.

For us, it just made sense to get married, but it took a while.

We lived together first also. Bought mobile home after 1 year, then a house after 3 years, then married after 4 years

    That's a rarity. Good job!
People don't typically even know who they themselves are until their late 20's. So having and keeping an SO is very rough to do if you yourself are in flux.

Just spent a couple hours catching up on posts on FHC. Now it is time to get some work done. Overcast this morning so hoping the sun comes out. Meanwhile bookkeeping and housework are beckoning. hard to stay off FHC while doing my bookkeeping though. Just think I will slide this window down to the bottom of the monitor and maybe peek once in a while?

I need both hands on the wheel at all times in the Jeep... and my honey is waaaay too busy gawkin'... ;) Wish we had taken it tho... we drove up by the Norlands Living History (only a few miles from us) and they were doing a civil war re-inactment... drove by about 30 men marching... very cool.

Wow, I was contemplating putting Casper in the Jeep and doing the same thing just a while ago.

Sounds like a nice drive...you didn't have any thoughts about running over a confederate did you?
