Got room in the service panel for a couple 30-40 amp breakers? Gonna have this installed or DIY?
Just checked the specs......it needs 100 amps. Flow rate drops to 3.63 GPM at a 45 deg temp rise. That's ok if your water is already 70 degrees going in. I guess you're doing that with the preheat tank, so might be okie dokie.
Not trying to burst your bubble.....bath.:D

Had a hot tub like that on a ski trip one time in college. We all jumped in one guys truck; found a burn barrel, some pallets and some large chunks of steel. Got that water mighty toasty! Hostel manager wasn't too impressed though...

That tepid tub weekend was when I met my wife though, in 2003. So all in all a great time, despite a not so hot, hot tub.

Dave, I do not interpret that as busting any bubbles, rather a kind thought from generous man :) I found some great information on another thread so it "should" work. I have 8 empty 20 breakers in new fuse panel, and 3 empty ones in the old panel. I also have a double 50 for the RV that will rarely be used from here on if needed. I am talking way over my head here, does this sound doable?

I think, since you're prewarming the water, you'll be fine. I wouldn't run the dishwasher or wash clothes while taking my shower though....but that's me.
You've got enough room....what size panel? 200 amp?
Guess I missed the other thread.

Sorry, a piece of willow isn't good enough. You must give 10% of your shag/hedge/ beech, madrone stash.

Floated a cold spring fed creek today, caught 2 LM bass and 1 small crappie.
Grilled up some burgers and sausage for my coworkers while we threw washers and consumed beers, thunderstorms held off until just as we finished eating.

Top of my feet are burnt - GF jokes that it looks like I'm wearing white socks when I have no shoes on

Cheap? Yes, that sounds like a blowout price
Wimpy? No Way! three 8 kw elements and three 40 amp breakers, will pull 112 amps.

I absolutely love mine. I think i have had it five or so years now.
No pre-warming needed with my well water.
I can literally run the tub (read: 5+ gallons per minute) all day and have hotter water than I want to bath in.
In the shower or kitchen sink it will scald you if set too high.

Tomorrow will be some outside work. Ground is seriously wet though. Hmmmm. I have a pretty good size Elm I have to cut up. And a few smaller Ash. Time to tackle that.

I also need to fell and cut up 2000 bd.ft. of Ash log for another Amish customer over the next month.
