Mowed my mothers property after work and noticed her neighbor was taking a load of branches to the tree dump.

Not a lot, but from what I read paper birch is pretty good wood, a step above the elm and ash that I have so much of. Going to split and stack it with my better wood (mulberry, locust, etc)

5" to 8" diameter so its not too big but I think it will still burn the same. :)

We let our 5" diameter set out a few years without splitting.

Somebody send us some rain. It is the driest I've ever seen for May.

Here as well. I can only remember one day of rain in at least 3 weeks if not a month.

Just ordered new pads and rotors for the truck. The ones on there now are BAD. Must have gotten a rock in there as they got scored pretty bad. I'll get the rotors on there now turned down and keep them just in case I need them in the future.

Mostly not worth trying to turn rotors now days- they always seemed to be a bit warped plus there isn't that much there in the first place- one of the areas that they shaved weight from for milage.

That's kinda what I figured, but I can get them done for beer from a friend. He takes a while to do them but I'm in no hurry.

I was told the same thing about turning old rotors. Ended up with four corners on the truck-rotors and pads.

T minus 1 day until my first career comes to a close after nearly 13 years. Very excited for the new journey!

I even bought some junky cigars to celebrate. And some beef jerky while I was there... because why not? Ya know.

Hope I can check FHC at the new spot, at least during lunch break.

Should've treated yourself to a good cigar instead of the junky....
    Congrats!
