    It's been known to happen. The back of my canyon terminates at the Continental Divide. Storms roll in and stall right above me until they either roll over or scootch North on the E. side. I can catch a lot of snow/rain at times.

    My son is eleven. He and his twin sister are both great workers. She likes the cooking and cleaning more than the moving and stacking wood though! LOL I'm bringing him with me more and more now that he is getting bigger. I've been teaching him about leverage with the tractor. And long hardwood poles to lift the end of the log up to get the chain under it, when I can't get the tractor in close enough because it's too wet or other trees in the way. I've been showing him how to use the chains, hooking, using them to roll thing the logs the way you want them, etc. I am also still learning this stuff myself! LOL Always something to learn. But, most important of all, I'm trying to show him safety. Showing him how to take his time, especially around equipment. Staying clear of things that are, or could move. It is great to have him with me!

    I made a breakfast braid using a ready made pie crust after I saw your pic this morning. That was a good recipe from swags.

    chicken piccata, sautéed spinach, steamed rice, dutch apple baby for dessert. good reviews from those at the table. beans look great.

    Well I was feeling pretty good today so it turned into a really productive day!

    Listed the parts truck on Facebook and blew it out the door by 10am! :D I had 39 responses in 15n minutes and ended up going to a fella right here in town just a couple miles away!!! There was literally nothing left in it I could use it was gutted out other than the 3/4 leafs. The guy who picked it up owns a diesel shop not far away and is cutting them out for me before he scraps it. Nice dude right there.

    Then I got the brakes :coffee::coffee: finished on the s10 front and back, greased all the joints and tie rods, packed the front wheel bearings ( bone fricken dry! ) as well as the shocks front and back :headbang::headbang::headbang::headbang::headbang: ONE BIG ANUS HAMMER! Along the way I busted a brake line so that got replace too. :coffee::coffee::coffee: And now I am bragging it up :pete::cheers:!

    It sorta escalated with my frustration I had to beat the fricken daylights outta the bottom shock mount bolts…. The where original oem shocks from 2000…. Still have a small remnant of the oem sticker on them.

    Ya….. I am not sure if my swearing was louder or the sledge going thwack! lol. When I upgraded to the hammer the pin popped out with two hits the little guys where doing nothing other than bouncing off… The first swing I was still on my creeper and went sideways and missed lol. Then it occurred to me wheels don't help! :whistle:
