I took home ec in middle school. I can sew buttons on, small repairs, and such.

My wife can't sew at all.

I look at it as a gold star on my man card.

My wife and I have made dozens of beautiful quilts. I don't sew as well as her........but I lay them out, and cut all the pieces. We've done some with over 1500 pieces.

I was going to mention that there are awesome quilts produced by men but didn't think anyone on here quilted. One of my favorite quilt designers is a man. I would love to see some of your quilts in the hobby section.

Up early doing the egg thing. Have a nice Easter everyone.

I sewed custom cushions for the Morris chair in our living room. No biggie, I saved a few hundred I'm sure.

Yea I can sew too. I was taught that you need o learn how to cook, clean, sew and all cause you might be single or wife might not know how.

I can only do a little sewing. But I do all my own laundry and when my wife and I first met I was the one doing 90% of the cooking. Over the years that's changed and now she is the far better cook, but I still can when needed.

Nice morning this morning. Going out to get another load of wood for my Mom's place. Should be a good day for it. Temps are a bit cool but not freezing anyway.

Taking it easy this morning. Kids wanted to go to church. So we took them and then went and had a bite to eat with the parents. A relaxing, being lazy morning on Easter Sunday. I just went and exchanged a propane tank for the grill. Wife's parents coming over for dinner tonight. Wife will be cooking steaks with Montreal seasoning on the grill, baked potatoes, and green beans. I believe there will be one cold beer before dinner.

Just relaxing on Easter Sunday. Got a good place to do it. :) Going to put the ham in the oven in a few hours. Probably be going back to get a beer sooner than that. House would be the middle one in back.

I'm still waiting for enough snow to melt so I can get back to the cutting grounds, until that happens, my arse will be in the recliner.

I'll sharpen four chains this week thinking that this coming weekend I can get back in.

If I can't get back in, I'll drop a topped off Cherry that is on the house property.

    Stacking is another/last option.

Our ham goes in the oven in 12 minutes. Yummmmm.

Home made glaze; Coke, apple cider vinegar, spicy brown mustard, brown sugar and cloves.
Home made cheddar chive biscuits, asparagus, and fruit salad.

Got back from wood cutting, grabbing a bit to eat and then catching the ferry to Mom's to unload it. Nice and sunny out.

I forgot, home made lemon meringue pie, and drinks. It's 3pm, time for mojito cava cocktails. Then a couple bottles of Riesling.
