When the ice would give my father a problem on the roof at the camp he would just get on a ladder and toss handfuls of rock salt all along the edge of the roof on sunny days. Generous amounts of it would work well.

There is a metal roof on it now. No problems.

If I could meet the engineer who designed the headlight assembly in my wife's car...I'd knee him in the nuts, just sayin.

I've got the computer on a work bench in the workshop. Above the bench is a 4' fluorescent fixture....with tubes that should have been replaced about 2 months ago.
Just replaced the tubes (both of em) WOW! Is it ever bright in here now!
Now, I can see that I have to straighten up this place...99 lbs is right, again!

The headlight bulbs in my old Acura where a #$&*#(*&%$ to change... You had to reach down in there behind the battery and basically do it by feel. Getting the bulb out wasnt so bad, it was reinstalling the spring clip that held it in and then getting the water tight boot back on the wire that would initiate a swearing fest.

I remember the days of working on my 79 F150. Just crawl into the engine compartment. ...have a seat on the wheel well..stretch out a bit...and get to work. Now there's no room for a hand to fit let alone a whole person.

There was an episode of The Simpsons many years ago where homer was sitting across the desk from a guy who told him he made those annoying commercials you hear on the Radio. Homer quickly reached across the desk and punched him really hard in the face. :lol:Hilarious. I looked for it on YouTube but I can't find it. Laptop still screwed up so I can't watch videos there. Using phone for it stinks. :emb:

For some reason I remember those when I was real young, but I think some of mine were green and white too.
Na none of them here either.

Mild this morning. Woke up to a balmy +10f! There were some wet patches along the blacktop yesterday where there was enough solar gain to melt the surrounding snow/ice.
It's on the way; by the end of the month, we could have spring!

Same temp here also. We are supposed to go down to -4f tonight and then late tomorrow 2-4 inches of snow. +1 on the solar gain, amazing to see the black patches in the driveway. Can't wait for spring.
