I was flaunting the good weather, wasn't I. Well, it is pouring rain today and was yesterday as well. I work as secretary in a high school - need I say more about where I got my cold and cough?

This particular needle was unintentionally placed in the haystack by a "challenged" person. I found it...only took 4 hours.

Clear cold morning here @ -26 f. Thankfully no wind chill. Just ingesting the morning caffeine fix. Gotta bring some wood up from the lower shed later this morning. Supposed to be a stormy week end south of us. They say a 40% chance of snow here on sunday, but thankfully, warming up a little. Got a charter this afternoon to pick up the college kids @ the ski hill and bring them home to the college. Everyone have a warm safe day.

What you driving for a bus Rotti? They good in the snow?

Gonna be bringing in more wood today too. Gonna dig out a path from our drive, to below the garage a bit... it'll help with eventual water runoff in the spring and, I can flush off a little salt from our vehicles this weekend, if it gets to 30.

    Drive safe rotti.
-19 here this am, and the house is down to 65.5
Even with the DV running, I got up at 3:30 and put 3 splits of Maple in the stove and the house still cooled by the time I got up at 7.
3 more splits of Maple a few minutes ago, and we're up to 66.5, and climbing.
Due for a "warmup" starting tomorrow.

"Bring me a metric crescent wrench, the chart reacher, and a pack of heater wipes."

That keeps the non-productive ones outta my hair for a few hours.

What a great side gig... taking exhausted college kids back home after skiing (& partying)...
I drove forward control BBs in Bangor Me from 1973-1976. Gas, 5 speed, air brakes. Nice buses. I'll bet they've come a loooooong way since then.
