It was good today. Thanks. I tried moving slow and careful. But I had a full load of work and got it done. Well, thanks to the Kubota, I got it done. LOFL. Taking Friday off all together from anything physical really seemed to help. If I counted Thursday night, Friday and into Saturday morning then I almost had a day and a half of complete physical rest. But now my back feels a little sore in other places. :picard::rofl:

The more rest you can give it, the faster you'll be back to normal.

I was up there today too. Shoveled off 3' drifts from the garage today and raked some more of the lower snow from the roof of the house. Fingers crossed, the water stays out. Ran my sump pump earlier and moved some snow from the downspouts, still not sure it will help.

Put about 30 miles on the quad today between pushing snow and pulling sleds full of kids.

I finally finished a trio of side tables for a customer that I started after the holidays. It was a slow process due to the basement shop being on the cold side. These were repurposed from the remaining pieces of a dining room table from the customer. The pedestals were the old table legs. The table I was given to work with had an oak top and the skirt and legs were maple for some reason. It was already a mash-up of two tables. I had to make new feet to kind of match the rest of the table. Matching the stain to the wood species was a challenge. I also had to make a few dutchmen to fill in where cuts were made to the old table skirt. The top is a 12" x 12" piece of marble. I will miss these when they are gone in a few days. They have been in the living room curing for the last week and we kind of got accustomed to them being here.

These were the serving trays I made from the oak table top back in November.

My next project is a desk I am making for my son being made from a discarded mahogany dining room table and some mahogany outdoor furniture. I made good progress so far on the desk until and this table project had to move to the front burner.

Dug a two room snow fort for the kids. The assessor should be along to tax me on the square footage any day.
