    From furthest point SE to furthest point NW it is much more than that. From Luna Pier to Ironwood is over 600 miles.

    Yeah I dunno, I thought it was longer too, but when I looked it up, 450-490 miles was the answer I kept getting for an overall length...I know it took us a long time to get back home from Munising!

    Yes, from Munising it is a long drive for you. Maybe the other source looked at the Soo and another point in Indiana or Ohio. But that should be right around 400 miles. Maybe they went to Whitefish Point.

    Power was only out for 4 hours yesterday. Got another 1" of rain overnight and this morning. This is the most relentless week of rain and storms I can remember in a long time.

    My house is built on old river bottom sand and silt from umpteen billion years ago. It doesn't get puddles because it drains so well, but we have them this week.

    Off work today through the weekend. Spending the day getting caught up on chores before heading out of town for the rest of the week. I gave the jungle, I mean yard, a cut this morning. Two passes 90* from each other and it still looks like trash. It was super wet when I mowed but the forecast showed rain right now and into the evening and I couldn't risk it. I may hit it a 3rd time later today if it stays dry.

    Got to move a goat pen later this evening too.

    My goats don't eat things that have touched the earth, grass included, for some strange reason. I needs to be knee high or greater. Probably because they are spoiled.

    Goats are browsers of brush, etc. by nature, sort of like deer, rather than grazers of grass, like sheep and cattle. Although you do see both deer and goats grazing sometimes.

    Bunny's place, still stay in touch since her husband (my best friend) passed away in 23. We were 50/50 on firewood and totes and there are still quite a few totes out there, but with the weeds a little hard to get to them. Need to clear a path so I can get my second splitter pulled out and tuned up so I can sell it. Just seems like I never have time to go out and give her a hand.
