    You are not alone, I cant stand IPAs either... One thing that bothers me about the micro brew movement, its all IPA all the time... no variety and no variation in flavor other than cramming as much bitterness as possible in.

    Now give me a good German or Belgian and lets talk :drunk:

    For the most part I don't drink beer you can see through, but I got on an IPA kick for a while, mostly because some of the folks I travel with for work drink them exclusively. I've since come off it and am back to drinking stuff that looks like used motor oil...darker the better.

    Oh man. Had to work all day so no time for play. :(

    I did bring that crock pot of Chili to my parents house after work though and had dinner with them and my sister. This is the sister who is sitting in my parents living room when I go over to their house last Wednesday for my birthday dinner. She never told anyone she was coming home. Just showed up and surprised us. All the way from Seattle area! Stayed a week. Now it is time for her to go home again. :( But it was great to see her and we got to spend a little time together.

    Hope he gets some relief jet. Best of luck getting him back to health. One great thing is the little ones seam to get through the nasty stuff faster than us old guys do. Ahhh youth.

    Thanks guys. He is a bear to try to get him to take medicine. Anyone got any tips? Already tried everything that worked with the others. Can't find anything to mix it with without him spitting it out.

    Our lil one's medicine was mixed with a fruit flavor, we drew it from the bottle in a syringe, I pretended to drink it from the syringe and she liked to take the syringe in her own hands. We had to help with the stopper... When it worked it was like magic.

    Too long ago, but as a child my father would warm oil and put cotton soaked with the warm oil in my ear, not sure if they do that anymore but I remember relief back then.

    He thought that was a fun way to do it for a little while the last time. After about 2 days the novelty wore off. Short of holding him down we can't figure out a good way. Doc said he could give him a shot and we'd have to come back for another but it's not as effective.

    She get about 1/2 dose down when we force it. Better than none.... Mixing in juice didn't work for us either.

    Has he ever tried gatorade? We had luck mixing meds with that a few times. But novelty like you said earlier.

    It's 15 here this morning, what a pleasant surprise. Of course, now I know why, the snow is about to begin again. :hair:
    Old man winter was so kind to give us nearly 2 full days of sun until he decided to dump some more white stuff on us. Enjoy the day hoarders!
