After hosting several GTG events I can say it is many things and all good. For sure the friendships made were worth it all!

Come to think of it, yes, that's not the steering wheel of the 84 bronco II, but like the steering wheel of the ²) 86 bronco II 's we had, and like the steering wheel of the 88 ranger we had. Those are the same wheels as the 88 ranger we had as well.

There is no way I'd get on an airplane any time soon. I know "the statistics". Don't matter. BTW the government compiles the statistics.

I think the next 911 is any day now. TSA was created after 911. They aren't being paid now and the terrorists FJB let in know this.

My wife is flying from Burlington VT to Moline IL next month. The nice thing about flying in and out of small airports is they can't accommodate the big planes that hold lots of fuel. Those are the ones terrorists like.

Correct...I was with my buddy all day today, and he is an airline pilot. At lunch time he was watching the video on some sort of FAA/pilot news thing...they had the recording from air traffic control and the tower told the firetruck they were clear to go, but then immediately realized that it was not clear, repeatedly tried to stop them, but it seemed like they didn't hear the tower call to stop.
He said that model jet is a smaller commuter jet, so cockpit pretty much straight into firetruck. He thought a larger plane may have slid over the truck...still a major crash, but not cockpit direct frontal impact.

Looked like a decent sized plane to me, but all the pics I saw were dark. I was trying to figure out how pilots were the only casualties. In looking at the specs in comparison (this is a nice little tool where you can pick two plane models to compare), the Bombadier CRJ-900 isn't too much smaller than a 737-700, except in height and wingspan where there is a major difference (not counting cost - LOL). But, those relatively small differences have a huge impact as the 737-700 can carry twice as many people.

Yeah, as Dave said, that's a smaller commuter / regional plane. Only 2x2 seating. Those are much lower than say a 737 or the airbuses. Screenshot_20260324-100741.png
