    A woman was vacationing in Hawaii and her husband drowned while they were there. Swept out after falling in.

    The former fish plant in Salvage is now a brewery with restaurant on-site. I'm not a drinker, but their food looks great, I'll have to try it this year.

    I'm glad I didn't take wood from the patio stack until now. With my wife out of commission, I have 2 full y time jobs, or 3 actually. My day job, her job of cooking, cleaning and taking care of the family, and then now me taking care of her.

    That stack of wood on the patio right closer to the house is very welcome. It's 99% ash.

    Weather's a bit more moderate, only lows in the 30's really, and highs all over the place, but 40's and 50's in the forecast. Saturday was 72° and I took advantage and washed my truck in the driveway. Those daily runs to the hospital and melting snow really dirtied up my truck.

    I usually just do the grilling here and my wife cooks, I assist and sous chef for her, but it's me doing it all for a few weeks. A good friend, the one with the bobcat toolcat, his wife shopped, pre prepped and cooked several meals for us. That was VERY nice of them. I met that buddy at a local bar and he bought me a few pints Thursday night.

    That little escape and all that food was very nice.
