Another subzero morning here. This has to be a record for most below zero nights in a winter for us, at least in the past 30 or 40 years.

Did a little work on the ATV this morning. Changed out the diff fluids...hasn't been done in LONG time. Thankfully I didn't find any glitter or milkshake. 90 weight sucks to change...it's sticky and smells bad. I really need to lash the valves, but that's going to have to wait until another day.

Heading out this evening for date night with the wife, then going to my sister's house in the morning to draw up her basement in Sketchup and plan how to finish it out. I think I'll end up doing the framing and electrical at some point.

Thanks for the reminder on posture. I'll try side stepping towards them and maybe hunch over. I figure this cold and snow cover is my best chance to start. They're curious.

When I worked landscaping/lawn care, we were pulling up to a house we mowed. The neighbor across the street was standing in his yard with his arm stretched out and about 6-8 deer surrounding him.

No end in sight of this non melting snow. Getting worrisome low on wood , so even scrounging is a challenge. I visited a frien$ at the funeral home today. His mother passed. After lunch I stopped by Rural King for bird seed. Completely out of black sunflower seeds. Birds are hitting my feeders hard this week

Running out of room to plow snow and to shovel ramp/walkway. The snow banks are closing in.

I called the road commission the other day and asked for a "visit" from the grader to push the banks back on the driveway. There are still a couple ash that hang a bit lower than a plow driver would like them to, but he would be able to avoid them. It would be just the very tips of the ash branches anyway. Hopefully he'll carry through the task at hand.

Last two years, I was a little late in contacting them for the push back of the banks and missed out on the day they did that for everyone else. :headbang:

So far, they have always done a great job.

I should have mentioned that after he earned their trust, he would stand erect. It took awhile for us to get there, so.....

It would be a great picture to re-do as a painting.

Yeah, we'd all know to cut that branch off first.
