As I heard someone say once, why wash your dishes when they'll get full of food again anyway. Or wash yourself, for that matter.

Got out today and split that red maple that I scrounged last Saturday with the beech that's still at the end of the driveway. Since it's straight and Backwoods Savage mentioned doing kindling on the splitter, that's what was decided for this one.

Pushed the splitter just outside the garage and proceeded to get busy. Luckily I did cause it got dark before I finished. While I had to change a bulb, I just had to flick on the outside house lights.

Close up of how Backwoods mentioned doing it.

The finished pile, plus that tote in the first pic will make for some nice fire starting the next several weeks. Tomorrow the other side of this rack will get filled with oak.

You do know that you should be able to get 4 days out of your underwear, don't you?

    1. You wear them normally.

    2. You turn them around and wear them backwards.

    3. You turn them inside out and wear them frontwards.

    4. You keep them turned inside out and wear them backwards.

    :smoke:

Saves on laundry detergent also..... :p

Everything is out the window when taco Tuesday hits.

My wife finally let me take her to urgent care yesterday. She was right with her assessment of having an infection in her tooth/ gums. Antibiotics had her feeling much better within like 2 hrs yesterday. Now to continue with trying to find an in network endodontist to get her tooth fixed. What a pain. The information on principal's website isn't correct, and the info in our employees handbook isn't right either. Us employees apparently have to do HR's work.

Spent the morning defrosting our upright freezer today. What a pain. Is there anything you can put inside to absorb the moisture so it doesn’t build up so bad?
