While working on the tractor the other night I came back in from the garage after about an hour and a half to find this. Just took the pic this morning. Do you think the dogs are okay with it?

Today is my first day off since the beginning of November, except turkey day and last Sunday(the day I cut trees for 9 hours). Must go grocery shopping, clean out my truck, and make the house presentable for when the little lady comes by later.

Off tomorrow too. Plans are to f-up two monster cherry trees. Hello 28" ES with brand new full comp RS chain. 73cc, big bar, soft wood....never a bad time. Probably find some time to get everything sharpened today.

Ain't no rest for the wicked. At least I slept way in....6:30am, lol

Today is candy day and I'm being invaded. Daughters and granddaughters. I've got to find a place to hide. A good mess will be made by all.

I've already rescued my mead now the cat and I have to find a place to crawl into until the carnage is over.

Today my wife and I will do everything x-mas and be done with it until it goes away. Tree went up this morning, lights on around lunchtime and then some decorations.
I need to work the stacks today too, have to bring some wood up to the porch.

Watching Red Green whilst sitting under four blankets and waiting for the stove to catch up. The soda we keep in the entryway is starting to freezing with the sudden plunge in the mercury, so we are heating up the entry way a bit too.

I submitted the Firewood Hoarders TV channel to be publicly listed so I will have to wait until it's either approved or not before I do anything else with it. Guess that means I will have time to catch up on the new threads.

The family is away visiting friends this weekend. I will be surprising the wife by refinishing the heart pine kitchen floor. The second coat is down, upped the house temp to get it to dry nicely. No stove fire until things air out tomorrow. I will crank the stove in the am and crack open some windows then.

I will admit, having the microwave on the coffee table and the fridge next to the couch in the living room is not that bad after all. Actually, it makes total sense, it is just not widely accepted.

Jon, the fridge next to my chair or couch would probably not be a good thing. LOL

It is well below zero here and the whole house is cooling down, making it tougher to keep up. Fed the stove at 3:30 and the furnace was running at 8.

Here's a new one, o_O….. I get my mail today and I have a ticket for payment from "sunpass" in Florida. On the ticket it has a tag number….…….. now, the tag is "not readable" in the picture on a car that I don't even own, " a Mercedes SUV" "NOT" and the best part of this is, it's a trailer tag I owned 15+ years ago that is nailed to my garage wall:rofl: :p….. somebody in the Florida DMV is drunk:drunk:. I'm interested to see how this plays out:rolleyes:

Burning at about 475 according to the chimney thermometer, but still having trouble getting the temp up. It's up to 0 outside now, so I guess that's good.
