Imagine how much more $$ a 2 tone vehicle would be...

If i am remembering correctly my new Harley with the red paint is a 4 grand upgrade. Tank, fairing, rear fender and saddle bags. Paint supply prices are through the roof.

The outside of the house looks old. The bathroom really confirms it.

I like blue as well. But my wife hates most blue vehicles.

I used to never like white vehicles, but when I saw my truck in while with the chrome and the tinted windows I was sold. My boats are white, one white with a little black striping and white grey and tan interior, and the older boat is white with grey and blue interior. New bikes I'm looking at are either Blue, black or white, mostly. There's one that's Forest green with silver.

There's a lot of white trucks, but if you do it right, it will be instantly recognizable as yours.

No. That's not factory. You can buy Ford's with the lower body painted like the Ford's y'all have posted. Mostly they are higher trim levels like the king ranch and lariats.

There's this aftermarket job that looks great Screenshot_20251013-180245.png

Ford has retro new broncos, but those don't really do anything for me.

I find the sweet spot is around three years old. We don't have rust out here but the miles can get high. At three years there is enough life left in the vehicle, but a big chunk of depreciation has occurred. Now if rust is a thing in your area don't listen to me. That said, I drive an 18 yo Sequoia with 250K miles and I can't find a reason to replace it.

I was wondering too, my 70's childhood home had avocado green oven range but it was darker than the picture. I wondered if it was earlier?

60's greens had a bluish undertone that probably made the green appear a bit darker. Or, it could be your memory, or it could be the way the camera caught the light in this picture, or it was the materials used for the sink / bathtub, or even just the brand (they all had their version of the "same" color).

My bathroom sink was a light blue when I moved into this house, which points to it being original when the house was built in 1960.

Probably. I'm not old enough to be overly familiar with those colors

My grandparents had pink. The toilet and sink were relaced by the time I was old enough to clearly remember, but the bathtub still remained when they died.

Anyone here ever play disc golf. Went with the guys from work a couple times. Now I'm buying 20 dollars frisbees. Going again today after work. It's a fun way to get in a couple mile walk. 20251014_194516.jpg

No sir, the bolt is cross threaded into the o ring boss of a rotted off engine oil dipstick tube. I thought I was gonna have to take the oil pan off the crusty hunk of junk but got lucky!
