I like the steep intersecting gable over the door.

If trusses 2’ OC 15 sets including overhang makes building 26 feet wide are we sure it’s a house not a shop or garage?

Many are BUT most roof ridgeline are generally oriented to the longer side of building. If square foot print that is a 676 sq ft house. IME that’s not generally what’s being stick built on new builds.

Gotcha, my first house was that exact size. Well insulated easy to heat/cool. Not a ton of space to collect dust. It was great for a single fella and his dog. Then the Mrs. Came along and wanted children so we needed more space and headaches and expenses!

Agree Warner single guys with a dog need less space AND adding women and kids require changing what is necessary
Also appreciate simple honest question about an opinion ( mine) and its not an argument
Why I enjoy FHC and your part in it :handshake:

edited to add; I also like dormer over door so when snow comes off roof you can still open storm door to get out!

    That's about what mine is,

I don't think it's a garage, but it could be planned for a cabin/summer home rather than a full time residence. On the other hand, it's located in a place very susceptible to wind and weather, so a sturdy well insulated home might be prioritized over extra space.
Could be a single person, could be an older couple retiring back home, who knows.
It's also right next to a facility which hires and houses some seasonal foreign workers due to not enough local workers available, so it could even be for that purpose.

Whatever it is or whoever it belongs to, I'll be interested to see it finished and it'll have a nice view of the harbour and surrounding ocean.
