More fun with carpentry today. Beautiful 60° ride in this morning but saw a alarming amount of wildlife. Time to put some more metal studs together. Stay safe friends

darn, I have those stupid purple/red "bruises" all over my arm forearm from having that hand in the tank. Hello I'm not porcelaine doll - I'm not strong like used to be but I can still do things. Bruising so quickly like if I look at one my forearms wrong sucks. Other part is fragile skin, I barely knick anything and I have a transluscent flap of skin hanging off.. One day I bumped the counter on the way to the kitchen sink, WWW saw me lay a small flap of skin back down before I put tissue on it and he almost freaked. Um not a big deal to me, I'm grateful for my medicine and all those years in the sun. Not to mention all the scars when our doggie was a pup. Unusually thin nails for her size, and as a puppy I'd reach down and of course another tear/purpura:zip: Not a happy camper. Thank you for coming along on my rant.

Now like 12 hours later it running over the overflow pipe again :picard:

Weekend is here. I think I'm going to give the shop a break and work on some other stuff tomorrow. Probably load up the tractor in the morning and go till in some food plots...then I don't know what.

 A skunk :fart: right by the house somewhere. Thankfully doggie was inside eating and kiddo made inside without contact. Holy Cow it was strong! Battened down the hatches (doors and windows closed) and it's a lot better. Why would a skunk be spraying near our house and why was he out and about before dusk? Weird.

Agitated by barn cat? Are there owls that can prey on them out there?

Or maybe just a standard pizz poor attitude!

Rough day today with breaking stuff. Broke a PTO shaft, mower belt, and pull behind drag all in the course of about an hour today.

Could be a cat, our barn cat passed away a couple months ago, but there are still (or were) 2 male (littermates, there used to be 3) stray cats that live in our vicinity. Now that you mention that, WWW made a chicken stir fry early last week, the veggie scraps in there became "aromatic" and that bag is now on our dumpster. Could have been any combp of skunk vs racoon vs stray cat altercation at the dumpster lol

    Right? Doooo eeeetttt! yooperdave

Man has it been raining the second half of the day today. We got off the lake just as it was starting. Drove home, I got the boat halfway covered and I had to spend a few minutes hanging out in the boat under the cover because it started to rain so hard.

I turned on the radio a bit to pass some time while I was in the boat. Eventually, I just sucked it up and got out of the boat, finished snapping the cover on and went inside. I was in swim shorts and flip flops and that's it. I got an extra shower in today. Got inside and had to dry off like I was just in the shower.

We're planning on going to Sheboygan for the P1 powerboat races tomorrow and watching from the beach. We're expecting some rain tomorrow still. We'll have our sportbrella and an ez up. We'll be fine even if it does rain.

Yeah lots of rain. We have standing water in the front and back yards. Sump pump has been running. I'll probably put the PVC extension pipes on the pump output to keep the water further away from the house and down the hill.

I have to idea of how much rain we've actually received, but the next town up in the county got 3.91 inches of rain and that was before 10 pm last night. It's only rained more since then.

Things were starting to need some water/ rain, but not anymore.
