Did you take her to the hospital? I don't have any experience with Copperhead bites but I know rattlesnake bites are serious. I know a guy who got bit and had to have his foot amputated.

People were busy last night trying to break into my paypal and venmo accounts (paypal owns venmo). At least 4 times for each account I've been sent verification code announcements. verification codes. They actually did somehow reset the Venmo password, but I got that taken care of with nothing bad showing up. Seems they usually wait a day or two . I only got a venmo account last winter for my plowing guy. Now off to check my cc accounts - although no notices from them.

Her foot and ankle is swollen, so it’s painful to put any weight on it.

Yes, 4+ hrs at the ER for some Tordol and measuring. They wanted to keep her overnight to maximize the insurance soaking.

I first went armed for Yellow Jackets. When I returned with a p shooter I couldn’t find it. My ankles were exposed, so I wasn’t going to walk around in the leaves.

Yes, I have previously seen the results of copperhead bites. They checked her blood to make sure she was fighting the venom. Apparently anti venom is only used if antibodies are not detected.
